L.E.G.S Presentation by Natalie Widomski
L.E.G.S stands for Learning, Environment, Genetics, and Self. The LEGS platform was developed from an ethological perspective and was established to help people understand and utilize the different aspects of a dog that influence their behavior. This presentation will go over each component of L.E.G.S, how it can influence behavior, and discuss how to work with your dog to satisfy their needs and facilitate learning in a cooperative way.
“Natalie Widomski, Owner and Trainer of Pawsitive K9 Trainers LLC is a Certified Professional Dog Trainer through the Victoria Stilwell Academy for Training and Behavior, a Licensed Family Dog Mediator and a Certified Service Dog Coach since 2018. My focus is working with puppies and adolescent pups teaching them basic manners, and life skills. For the owners my focus is teaching them about animal welfare and understanding their dogs through using ethological lens; providing them with an education to give their dogs agency, choice and to navigate the challenges of normal canine behavior so they can raise a healthy, happy and fulfilled dog.”
